It would seem that some churches think exactly that. The pitch is try Him free for 30 days with a money back guarantee. It seems to me that we need to regrasp the sovereignty of God and the wrath of God. God is a God of mercy and love, but to ignore His other attributes such as justice and righteousness are detrimental to a right relationship with Him. Suggesting to an unbeliever that it his or her choice to take Jesus or leave Him is a perversion of the reality of a sovereign God. Flee to Him for salvation from the coming wrath-come to Him because there is no other hope for His sure judgement. By the way, Scripture also tells us that to "try Him and then turn away" leaves no hope for eternity(Luke 9:62). If we tell people about Jesus, let's tell them the whole truth and not substitute our clever "hooks" for the only source of truth- God's Word. Signs are simply inadequate to present the Gospel. Tell people you're there and when you meet. Let the Spirit of God through the teaching of the Word of God draw people to Him.
